All-Time Series
• Arkansas State owns a 32-7 all-time lead over South Alabama in a series that dates back to Oct. 1, 1988. The Jaguars have won two straight in the series, dating back to 2019, including a 3-1 win last season in Jonesboro which marked their first win at Arkansas State since 2001.

• Libero Rachel Hickey was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday after leading the league in digs per set (5.14) with 36 digs in seven sets in two matches against ULM last weekend in Mobile. She recorded 11 digs in three sets in Friday's contest before finishing with a season-high 25 digs in a four-set victory on Saturday. Tuesday's announcement marked the first time in her career she has received the honor, and the first Jag to earn SBC Defensive Player of the Week accolades since Ashlyn Roberts in 2019.
• Outside hitter Hannah Maddux was named the Sun Belt Conference Offensive Player of the Week in consecutive weeks (Sept. 19 & Sept. 27) earlier this season.
Maddux enters the weekend as the SBC leader in kills (83), kills per set (5.19), points (95.5) and points per set (5.97) in league contests. Overall, she ranks third in kills (234) and total points (267), tied for fourth in points per set (4.45) and fifth in kills per set (3.90).
• South Alabama ranks sixth nationally in team attacks per set (37.60), which leads the Sun Belt Conference.
• USA leads the SBC in service aces (35) and service aces per set (2.19) in conference matches, ranks second in digs (245), ranks third in hitting percentage (.283), opponent hitting percentage (.150), opponent kills per set (11.38), blocks (42), blocks per set (2.63), and tied for third in opponent service aces per set (0.94).
• The Jags enter the weekend tied with Texas State for the league lead in assists per set (13.22), ranked second in digs per set (16.37) and opponent service aces per set (1.12), and third in kills (791) and kills per set (13.18).
• Outside hitter Maddie Soboleski ranks fourth in the conference in kills per set (3.93), tied for fourth in points per set (4.45) and seventh in total points (182.5).
• Middle blocker Morgan Stalcup ranks tied for third in the league in total blocks (62), tied for fifth in blocks per set (1.03) and eighth in hitting percentage (.331).
• Middle blocker Niki Capizzi ranks fourth in the SBC in hitting percentage (.361)
• Hickey ranks fifth in the league in digs (243), and sixth in digs per set (4.12.) She eclipsed the career 1,000-dig mark at South Alabama in a Sept. 9 loss to Kennesaw State in Starkville, Miss.
• Setter Kailey Keeble ranks third in the conference in assists per set (9.88), and fourth in total assists (583).
• Keeble enters the weekend with 11 double-doubles this season, and 30 career doubles which ranks third all-time at South Alabama.
• Keeble was named the Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Week on Sept. 6 after totaling 141 assists, 50 digs, one service ace, five block-assists and one solo block in three matches at the SFA Invitational Sept. 2-3 in Nacogdoches, Texas. It marked the third time in her career she has received the honor after earning the award twice last season.
