All-Time Series
• UTA owns an 8-4 all-time lead over South Alabama in a series that began on Sept. 2, 1995, in Arlington, Texas. The Mavericks defeated the Jaguars in five sets in the last meeting between the schools, which came on Nov. 22, 2019, at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in San Marcos, Texas. USA has won the last three regular-season meetings dating back to 2017. 
• Texas State owns a 10-3 all-time lead over South Alabama in a series that dates back to Oct. 20, 2013. The Bobcats have won three straight over the Jaguars, including a win in straight sets over USA in last year's SBC Tournament. South Alabama's last win over Texas State came in straight sets in San Marcos, Texas, in 2017.

• South Alabama ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference in opponent hitting percentage (.142), and third in service aces per set (1.81).
• The Jaguars rank fourth in the conference in blocks pet set (2.12) and digs per set (16.60), and fifth in hitting percentage (.221).
• Kailey Keeble leads the Sun Belt and ranks 20th nationally in assists (448). Keeble ranks third in the league in assists per set (9.76), and eighth in service aces per set (0.40).
• Kennedy Wallace leads the Sun Belt in hitting percentage (.420).
• Rachel Hickey ranks fourth in the conference in digs per set (4.55). 
• Keeble leads the Jaguars with seven double-doubles, followed by Maddie Soboleski with five.
• South Alabama enters the weekend coming off of consecutive losses for the first time this season after dropping its final two matches of the Hail State Invitational last weekend in Starkville, Miss., to Mississippi State and Syracuse.
• Carissa Bradford has recorded 10 or more kills in six of her last seven matches, including a career-high 18 kills against Southern Miss on Sept. 10 at the Jax State Invitational in Jacksonville, Ala. Her eight kills against Jackson State last weekend at the Hail State Invitational in Starkville, Miss., marks the lone match in which she has not posted 10-plus kills during that span.
• Keeble has recorded 30 or more assists in eight of her last nine matches, dating back to Sept. 3 at Tennessee Tech, with the lone exception coming against Jackson State last weekend when she tallied 28 assists in four sets.
• South Alabama recorded 12 service aces in four sets against Jackson State last weekend, led by Keeble's five aces. The Jags' finished with a season-high 13 service aces against Charleston Southern on Aug. 27 at Jag Gym. 
• Hickey has recorded double-digit dig totals in every match this season, including a season-high 33 digs against Valparaiso on Sept. 4 at the Golden Eagle Invitational in Cookeville, Tenn.
