All-Time Series
• South Alabama owns a 2-1 all-time lead over Tennessee Tech in a series that dates back to 1981. USA won the last meeting between the schools, which came on Oct. 1, 1988, in a tournament in Jonesboro, Ark.
• The series between USA and UNC-Asheville is tied 1-1. The series dates back to Sept. 1, 2001, when the Jags defeated the Bulldogs in five sets in Asheville, N.C. UNC-Asheville won the last meeting between the schools, which came on Sept. 3, 2010, in Mobile.
• The all-time series between South Alabama and Valaparaiso is also tied 1-1. USA won the first-ever meeting between the schools, which came on Sept. 8, 1988, in Memphis, Tenn. Valpo won the last meeting between the schools, which came on Sept. 1, 2012, in St. Louis, Mo.

• South Alabama ranks second nationally in service aces per set (3.11), which leads the Sun Belt Conference.
• The Jags also rank 14th nationally in team service aces (28), and 18th in opponent hitting percentage (.097).
• USA leads the SBC in service aces per set (3.11) and opponent hitting percentage (.097), and ranks third in hitting percentage (.233).
• Kennedy Wallace leads the Sun Belt Conference in hitting percentage (.519) with 17 kills and three errors on 27 total attempts.
• Niki Capizzi and Rachel Hickey are each tied for the Sun Belt lead in service aces per set (0.67). Ezgi Karabulut and Paige Lynn each rank tied for seventh in the league in service aces per set (0.56).
• Capizzi also ranks fifth in the conference in blocks per set (1.11), while Hickey ranks fifth in digs per set (4.67).
• Setter Kailey Keeble ranks fifth in the Sun Belt in assists per set (9.33).
• Keeble recorded the team's first double-double of the year in Saturday's sweep of Jacksonville with 27 assists and 11 digs.
• South Alabama's 3-0 start to the year marks the first time the Jags have started a season 3-0 since 2009.
• USA carries a five-match road losing skid into the weekend after dropping its final five road matches of the 2020 season, which began on Oct. 30 at Troy.
• South Alabama recorded 13 service aces in last weekend's sweep of Charleston Southern, led by Niki Capizzi's five aces. It marked the Jaguars' highest service ace total in a match since Oct. 10, 2003, when USA finished with 13 service aces at Louisiana.
