MOBILE, Ala. – JO Volleyball Camps located at South Alabama will host eight summer camps in the month of July.

July 7-9 will kick off the summer camp series with the All Skills 1 Camp and Attacker/Server sessions at Jaguar Gym, located on the campus of the University of South Alabama. The All Skills camp provides a foundation for skills in attacking, setting, passing and digging for ages 9-14, and the Attacker/Server sessions offer campers aged 13-18 the opportunity to improve their skill set in attacking and serving. The All Skills 1 Camp, which costs $165, will be held July 7-9 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., and the Attacker/Server sessions are set for July 7-9 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at a cost of $100.

Elite Camp 1 is scheduled for July 11-13 for ages 13-18, and will provide high-level training in attacking, setting, passing and digging. The three-day camp costs $200 for commuters and $300 residential, and will begin July 11 with Day 1 from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m., followed by Day 2 from 9:30 a.m. – noon, 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. The final day of Elite Camp 1 will run from 9:30 a.m. – noon, and 1:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

July 15-17 will feature Team Camp and Knockout Tournament. Team Camp is designed to provide skill and tactical instruction from the Jaguar volleyball staff, as well as provide the opportunity for significant competition, and costs $200 for ages 12-18. The Knockout Tournament is an option of Team Camp that provides teams an opportunity to compete in 10-plus matches over three days at a cost of $100 per participant.

The All Skills 2 Camp and Setter/Server sessions will be held July 18-20. The All Skills 2 Camp will provide the same instruction and opportunity as the All Skills 1 Camp, while the Setter/Server sessions will offer training designed to improve hand, feet and body movement for setting and serving. The All Skills 2 Camp costs $165 per person, while the Setter/Server sessions are $100 per participant.

Elite Camp 2, held July 21-23, will mark the final camp of the summer. Like Elite Camp 1, Elite Camp 2 will provide high-level training in attacking, setting, passing and digging for ages 13-18 with a cost of $200 per commuter and $300 for residential campers. 

All camps are held in Jaguar Gym, Striplin Center and the USA recreation center – all located on the campus of the University of South Alabama. Online payments can be made in multiple payments with a credit card, but note that an online processing fee will be added to all online registrations.
