MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team picked up its third consecutive conference win after defeating Appalachian State 6-1 on Sunday afternoon at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts.
Doubles pair Cami Moreno and Yurie Takanishi, earned the doubles point for the Jags after recording a 6-4 win over Maria Zacarias and Ksenia Aleshina on court one. South Alabama continued its momentum into singles action as its five singles victories came in straight sets to end the day.

- Moreno and Takanishi have won seven of their last nine doubles matches as a pair this season.
- Domingo-Bernabeu earned her first singles victory of the season, with her win coming in straight sets (6-1, 6-1) on court five.
- Three other Jaguars' singles victories came in straight sets: Fujioka, Kohoutova, and Aoki.
- Fujioka and Aoki each claimed two consecutive singles wins after this weekend's contests.
- South Alabama has won three consecutive matches in conference play and remains undefeated at home (7-0).
