MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team (5-1) will be back on the courts Wednesday afternoon as it hosts rival Troy (1-2) at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Tennis Courts, with the first serve set for 2 p.m.

The Jaguars are looking to extend their winning streak to 11 matches against the Trojans as the match marks the 14th meeting between the two clubs since 2007. South claimed a 4-0 victory over Troy in its last meeting between the clubs on April 18, 2019.

NOTES
- The Jaguars head into Wednesday's match with a 5-1 record after defeating UAB, 4-1 last weekend.
- Fujioka, Kohoutova and Takanishi each recorded victories in singles and doubles play in their last outing.
- Kohoutova's singles victories came in straight sets this past weekend against Samford and UAB, improving her overall record to 4-1.
- Takanishi is currently undefeated at the No.3 position in singles action with a 3-0 record.
- Fujioka leads the Jags in singles play with a 5-1 mark, with four wins coming at the No. 1 position.
- The doubles team Cami Moreno and Yurie Takanishi have won five of their last six doubles matches.
- Wednesday's match will the first Sun Belt match of the season for the two teams.
- The match was originally scheduled for Feb. 11, but was rescheduled due to inclement weather in the Mobile area.

- On this week's match: "We are excited to get a midweek match in. It's a great opportunity to keep on getting better at our match-play and our point-play skills. On top of that, it's our first conference match, so it adds a little bit of incentive to hopefully produce at a good level tomorrow."
