Notes from the Tulsa
- The 30-point deficit marked the largest margin of defeat for the Jags since an 87-45 (42) loss to Troy last February. 
- South Alabama's 68 field goal attempts were the most so far by the club this season. 
- South had five blocks in the contest, tying its previous season high from against Faulkner on Dec. 14.
- Janelle Jones accounted for two of the Jags' blocks, leading the team for the first time this season in the category. 
- Nadia Howard's 14-point output marked the third time this season in which she has posted double figures.
- Kiana Anderson and Dee Haymer matched Mahogany Vaught's assist total, however, Vaught has now led the squad in the category in five of South's 12 games.
