All-Time Series
• Arkansas State holds a 32-7 all-time lead over South Alabama after defeating the Red Wolves in four sets on Oct. 1 this season in Jonesboro, Ark., to capture their second straight win in the series. USA is 0-2 all-time against Arkansas State in the SBC Championship.
• South Alabama is 15-8 all-time against Georgia State after defeating the Panthers twice in the regular season. The Jags have never faced GSU in the SBC Championship.
• Coastal Carolina owns a 12-2 all-time lead over South Alabama after the schools split a pair of matches in the regular season. The Jags have never faced the Chanticleers in the SBC Championship.

Jag Notes
• South Alabama clinched the program's first-ever Sun Belt Conference overall regular-season championship this season with a 15-1 league record.
• USA set a new program record for SBC wins (15) in a season this year, and its 22 regular-season wins are the most by a Jaguar team since the 1989 team won 23 games.
• South Alabama Head Coach Jesse Ortiz was voted the 2021 Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year, and joins Ritchie Ponquinette (1987) and Jim Smoot (1995) as the only South Alabama coaches to earn the honor in the program's history.
• Jaguar setter Kailey Keeble earned first-team all-SBC honors this season, and Hannah Maddux, Maddie Soboleski and Kennedy Wallace were each named second-team all-SBC. Keeble is the first Jaguar to earn first-team all-SBC honors since Kelley Hartman in 2019.
• South Alabama enters the SBC Championship with a 10-game win streak, which marks the longest by a Jaguar squad since the 1987 team won 15 consecutive matches.
• USA is 11-38 (.224) all-time in the SBC Championship. The Jags defeated ULM in the first round of the 2020 Sun Belt Championship to earn the program's first tournament win since 1995.
• South Alabama closed the regular season as the Sun Belt Conference leader in opponent hitting percentage (.139), opponent assists per set (10.00), opponent kills (605), opponent kills per set (10.80), service aces (97) and service aces per set (1.73) in conference contests.
• The Jaguars ended the regular season ranked third in the SBC in hitting percentage (.244), assists per set (12.52), kills per set (13.45) and digs per set (13.41) against league opponents.
• Kailey Keeble leads the Sun Belt in assists (1,073), which ranks 13th nationally, and tied for second in assists per set (10.52). In SBC matches, Keeble leads the league in assists (625), and ranks second in assists per set (11.16). 
• Keeble's assist per set total of 10.52 currently ranks third on the Jaguar single-season record list, while her assist total of 1,073 currently ranks fourth.
• Kennedy Wallace leads the Sun Belt Conference in hitting percentage (.393) overall, as well as in SBC matches (.386), and is tied for seventh in total blocks (55) and tied for ninth in blocks per set (1.00) against SBC opposition. She has recorded 175 kills in 101 sets as the most efficient hitter in the SBC this season, and posted a .333 hitting percentage or higher on 10 or more total attempts in 14 matches this season. Wallace has also recorded 94 total blocks entering the Sun Belt Championship. Wallace's current hitting percentage of .393 ranks as the highest in a single-season in the program's history, bettering Rebecca Walk's .377 percentage last year, and is also tops on the career list.
• Maddie Soboleski ranks fifth in the SBC in total points (360) and service aces (30), seventh in average points per set (3.53) and tied for ninth in service aces per set (0.29). She finished with 10 or more kills in 17 regular-season matches this season, and has 54 total blocks entering the SBC Championship.
• Hannah Maddux ranks eighth in the SBC in total points (198.5) in SBC matches, ninth in hitting percentage (.306) and 10th in average points per set (3.54). She has recorded 10 or more kills in 13 matches this season, including nine of her last 10 games. Maddux also has 61 total blocks entering the conference postseason tournament.
• Niki Capizzi ranks tied for fifth in the conference in total blocks (63) and blocks per set (1.13), and sixth in hitting percentage (.321) in SBC contests.
• Carissa Bradford ranks eighth in the SBC in kills (182), and ninth in kills per set (3.25) against conference opponents this season.
• Rachel Hickey ranks third in the conference in service aces (20), fifth in digs per set (4.45) and tied for fifth in service aces per set (0.36) against league opponents.
• Paige Lynn ranks sixth in the conference in service aces (17), and ninth in service aces per set (0.30) in SBC contests.
• Keeble leads the Jaguars with 16 double-doubles, nine of which have come against Sun Belt Conference opponents, which ranks tied for third on the Jaguar single-season record list. Maddie Soboleski ranks second on the team with five double-doubles this season. Soboleski has 14 career double-doubles, and is one double-double shy of entering the top-15 on the Jaguar career list.
• Keeble was twice been named the Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Week this season (Sept. 28 & Oct. 5), making her the only Jaguar in program history to earn the honor multiple times.
