Opening Tip
• South Alabama will recognize three seniors — Kennedi Centers, Emerald Hart and Shaforia Kines — in a pregame ceremony prior to their final regular-season appearance at the Mitchell Center.
• USA is looking for its first win on Senior Day since defeating Arkansas State, 71-49, on March 4, 2017.
• It's the first time the Trojans are South's opponent in its final home game of the regular season since Troy earned an 86-79 victory at the Mitchell Center on March 7, 2015.
• The last time the Trojans were the opposition on Senior Day prior to that match-up was on Feb. 24, 2007, when USA picked up a 56-44 win.
• The Jags have won the last two meetings with Troy in Mobile.
• This marks just the third time in school history that the Jaguars will play on Leap Day; they have split the previous two contests, both at home:
^ L, 65-69 vs. Arkansas State (1992)
^ W, 69-56 vs. Mississippi Valley State (1996)

Three-Point Threats
South made seven three-point field goals last time out against Little Rock, the sixth straight contest since its first meeting with Troy on Feb. 1 that it has finished with at least that many.  The Jaguars have connected on better than 35 percent of their attempts beyond the arc in every outing — shooting 41.1 percent overall — while sinking 58 treys and allowing just 26 during that stretch.

Painting By Numbers
The Jags were outscored 34-20 in the paint by the Trojans on Saturday, marking their third consecutive loss when the opposition has produced more offense in the post.  In fact, USA has scored fewer points than its foe in the paint in each of its last six losses with a margin of 10 or more points in the category on four of those occasions.

Senior Stuffs The Stat Sheet
Making the 100th appearance of her career, Centers recorded career highs with 14 points and three three-point field goals, season-best totals of five assists and four steals while adding eight rebounds and three blocks — both totals were one shy of matching her most this year — in the Jaguars' game against Little Rock. Not only was it the first time in her career that Centers has scored in double figures in back-to-back games — she had 12 points in a win over Arkansas State two days prior — but it was the first occasion she has led the team in the category. The senior forward became the first Jag to pace the team in points, rebounds and assists in same game since Kines accomplished the feat in the team's Sun Belt Conference opener against Appalachian State on Jan. 2, while JoAnna Williams was the last individual in the program to top South in all five statistical categories after doing so with 24 points, seven rebounds, an assist, a block and four steals at Southern Illinois on Nov. 25, 2005.

Entering Senior Day With A Streak
Kines extended her streak — one that dates back to the Jags' first meeting with Troy — to seven straight outings with 10-plus points, her longest of the season, after posting 12 last time out; the senior's 22 outings scoring in double digits is best on the team.  Kines has connected on 40 percent or better from beyond the arc in each of the last six contests after making 3-of-5 attempts against the Trojans.

Additional Notes From The Little Rock Game
• Antoinette Lewis has now scored 10 or more points on 19 occasions this year.
• Jala Buster finished with two steals in the contest, the first time she has been credited with multiple thefts since the Jags played Alabama on Nov. 21.
• Little Rock's 56.9 field-goal percentage for the game was the highest allowed by the Jags this season.
• South attempts 49 shots from the floor in the contest, it's lowest total during the 2019-20 campaign.

Notes From The Last Troy Meeting
• Kines recorded her first 20-point game in nearly a month — the previous one had come on Jan. 4 against Coastal Carolina — while tying a career high for free throws made.
• It was the fourth outing in a row that Lewis finished with a double-double.
• It marked the first time in 91 career appearances that Savannah Jones led all players in assists.
• The Jaguars' 24 free throws — still their highest total this season — were the most they have hit in a contest since Jan. 1, 2014.
• Troy ended up with 25 fast-break points, the most by a South opponent this year (Coastal Carolina has since matched that total when it beat the Jags on Feb. 15).
