QUOTES
Head Coach Nick Brochu
On the uncertainty of where you were playing: "Well we knew that it was going to be a long day. We knew that it was going to be raining all day, and there was the possibility of our match getting pushed back. If we go indoors, we were going to be limited on courts. We had a meeting last night, and we knew that those things couldn't affect us. It's the same for both teams, it's not ideal, but you have to deal with it."
On what was important for your team today: "I think today the main goal was doubles. We played them last week and we had to save two match points to take the doubles point. Today, it was very important to not only win the doubles point, but make a statement. Court three stepped up big time. Singles, the atmosphere is a little different when you only have three courts going at the same time. Clement started on number three, and didn't have a good day. But he stayed calm and that's where the experience comes into play. He stayed calm, wasn't playing well and just focused on the important points. He has been there before, so very proud of him today."
Junior Clement Marzol
On the transition from outdoors to indoors: "Yeah that's right. We haven't played indoors that many times this season, so that is something we had to adjust too. But I think we did a pretty good job, especially in doubles. I thought we started out pretty well. We got into a good rhythm, and we played pretty good in singles as well. Sacha and Loic played well. I struggled a little bit in the first set but I came back and won, so I'm proud of the effort."
On the comeback in your singles match: "I mean the first set I was not playing that well. I had to make a few adjustments from outdoors to indoors. We played them last week and I beat my opponent then. I knew what I had to do, made a few adjustments and it worked out."
