Opening Tip
• South plays its final home game in 2019 when the Lady Crusaders visit on Tuesday night.
• It will also be the Jaguars' final non-conference home contest of the regular season.
• It's the second time this season USA will take on a non-NCAA Division I opponent after defeating Mobile at home on Nov. 26.
• Although this will be the fifth official meeting between the two programs, the Jags have defeated Williams Carey in exhibitions in 2014 and '18 as well.
• South has won its last 26 match-ups against non-Division I opponents, a streak that dates back to Feb. 25, 1990.

Reaching Out From Long Distance
The Jaguars were one three-pointer shy of connecting on 10-plus treys for the third time in four outings, but after making 7-of-13 (53.8%) from beyond the arc in the second half they posted their best three-point rate — 37.5 percent — since going 7-of-18 (38.9%) from long distance in a Nov. 26 win over Mobile.  Not only does South enter the final week non-conference action first in the Sun Belt with 7.7 treys per game, they rank among the top 65 in the country in the category.

Lowe Lights It Up
Devyn Lowe was the Jags' prime contributor to their performance from behind the arc last time out after equaling season highs in scoring (12) and three-point field goals (four, on seven attempts), both marks she originally recorded in a win over Tennessee State on Nov. 30, in just 12 minutes of action.  The redshirt sophomore has already scored in double figures twice this season after accomplishing the feat on two occasions in 19 appearances as a redshirt freshman all of last year, and she also contributed seven rebounds against the Lady Eagles after pulling down four in the previous three games combined.

Kines Keeps The Streak Going
G Shaforia Kines posted 15 points and a season-high-tying five rebounds at Southern Miss, as the senior has now led the Jaguars in scoring in four straight outings — that's the longest streak of her career.  She has scored 15 or more points on five occasions while reaching double figures in each of the last six outings, highlighted by going 28-of-33 (84.8%) at the charity stripe during that stretch.  And, after making a pair of threes against the Lady Eagles — her fourth straight contest connecting on more than one shot from three-point range — Kines became just the fourth individual in program history to record 150 or more treys in a career.

Dropping Double Figures Again
Savannah Jones has scored in double figures in each of the team's last six games after finishing with 11 points in the USM game, with the redshirt junior guard averaging 6.3 rebounds per contest during that span after adding six against the Lady Eagles.  Jones has made multiple three-pointers in five of the last six outings after going 2-of-5 from beyond the arc on Sunday, while her first block of the month was the only one recorded by the Jaguars in the contest.

Additional Notes From The Southern Miss Game
• USA's 18 first-half points — the Jags scored nine in each of the first two periods — were the fewest scored this year, as was its final total.
• It was the fourth occasion this season that South has forced the opposition into 20 or more turnovers.
• The Jaguars forced the Lady Eagles to go 4-of-20 from the field in the final quarter to cut a 14-point deficit down to just five in the final minute before their rally came up short.
• C Antoinette Lewis has posted a double-digit board total in each of the last four outings after pacing all players with 10 as she has earned or shared team-high honors in all 10 contests this season.
• Senior Kennedi Centers contributed six points and seven rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench, which included grabbing the 300th board of her career.
