MOBILE, Ala. – The University of South Alabama volleyball team will host a pair of Sun Belt Conference matches this weekend at Jag Gym.

USA (12-6, 3-1 Sun Belt) will face Louisiana (5-12, 1-3 Sun Belt) Friday at 6:30 p.m., and will host ULM (9-10, 0-4 Sun Belt) on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Both matches will be streamed live and available for free at JagNationTV.com, while live stats will also be provided and available through the multimedia section of USAJaguars.com. Admission is free to all Jaguar home volleyball matches.

The Jaguars enter the weekend with a nine-match home win streak with a perfect 9-0 record in Jag Gym this season. USA has won eight of its last nine matches, dating back to a Sept. 17 win at Alabama State, after defeating Southern Miss in straight sets Tuesday in Hattiesburg, Miss. The Jags split a pair of Sun Belt road matches last weekend with a loss at Georgia State and win at Georgia Southern.

South Alabama ranks third in the Sun Belt in hitting percentage (.243) and opponent hitting percentage (.173), tied for fourth in service aces per set (1.51) and sixth in kills per set (12.64). In conference contests, USA ranks second in kills per set (13.75), third in service aces per set (1.50), and fourth in hitting percentage (.243) and opponent hitting percentage (.183).

Senior middle blocker Kelley Hartman, who was named the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week earlier this week, leads the league in hitting percentage (.395), and ranks eighth in kills per set (3.16). Rachael DeMarcus ranks fourth in the conference in assists per set (9.80), Ashlyn Roberts ranks seventh in digs per set (4.15) Hannah Harris ranks eighth in service aces per set (0.37).

In league matches, Harris ranks second in service aces per set (0.56), DeMarcus ranks fifth in assists per set (9.88), Hartman ranks fourth in blocks per set (1.19), sixth in kills per set (3.56) and seventh in hitting percentage (.350), and Roberts ranks 10th in digs per set (3.86). 

Louisiana leads the Sun Belt in digs per set (17.85), and Hannah Ramirez ranks third in digs per set (4.48). In league matches, Ramirez ranks fifth in digs per set (4.25) and Kelsey Bennett ranks eighth with 4.12 digs per set. Dree'Ana Abram ranks tied for seventh in blocks per set (1.00) in Sun Belt matches.

The Ragin' Cajuns have lost nine of their last 10 matches dating back to a Sept. 13 loss to Arizona State in Norman, Okla. UL fell in five sets at Appalachian State last Friday before falling in straight sets at Coastal Carolina last Sunday. The Cajuns are 1-3 on the road this season, with their lone win coming at UT Arlington on the opening weekend of Sun Belt play. 

ULM carries a five-match losing streak into the weekend after falling in straight sets at Coastal Carolina and App State last weekend. In their last four matches, dating back to a Sept. 29 loss at Texas State, the Warhawks have not won a set. ULM will face Troy in Troy, Ala., Friday at 6:30 p.m. before taking on the Jags Saturday. 

ULM ranks tied for fourth in the Sun Belt in service aces per set (1.51) and hitting percentage (.216). Mikaela Worley ranks tied for fifth in the conference in kills per set (3.47), and Kate Blasingame ranks sixth in service aces per set (0.40). In Sun Belt matches, the Warhawks rank last in the league in blocks per set (1.31). 

Louisiana holds a 34-17 all-time lead over South Alabama in a series that dates back to 1977. The Ragin' Cajuns have won the last two meetings in the series after a 3-1 win last year in Lafayette, La. USA last defeated UL in 2016 in Lafayette, and last defeated the Cajuns in Jag Gym in 2015.

USA owns a 12-7 all-time lead over ULM in a series that began in 1984. The Jags have won the last two meetings in the series after sweeping the Warhawks last year in Monroe, La. ULM's last win over USA came in five sets in 2016 in Monroe.
