QUOTES
Head Coach Amy Hendrichovsky
- On the match:
"Louisiana Tech came out today and put together a good game plan. They were very relentless in their defense, which is good; I like to see that, it forced us to continue to attack. But I thought our team came out focused for the first two sets, and we were able to handle what they (Louisiana Tech) were giving us. In the third set, we just waited too long to work. We had a little adversity in that set. We fought in the end for it and could have pulled it away, but Louisiana Tech came away and made the plays at the end in that set. But I was proud of our response in set four. Part of the sport is really getting pushed, and having to work through that. I thought all three teams pushed us this weekend and forced us to get better, and I am proud of our team for that."
- On the weekend:
"We've prepared a very good non-conference schedule for us, and this weekend we really talked about being on our home court and taking care of business. I thought our team was able to do that, and came in with that mindset no matter who we were playing. I think, at times, you can play to your level of play, and I thought we really came in with the same mindset and attitude for all three matches no matter who was on the other side of the net."
