QUOTES
Head Coach Amy Hendrichovsky

- On the day's matches:
"I thought our girls did a good job in both matches of coming out and attacking the other team and taking control of the momentum early; I was proud of them doing that in both matches. In the Marshall match, we controlled the tempo of the game throughout the match up until that third set; we didn't respond well at the end of the third set. I really challenged Kelley (Hartman) and she had a stellar performance in the fourth set, and we took care of business. And with Dayton, they are a very good team. They are top program that competes for the NCAA Tournament year-in and year-out, and I thought it was a really good test for us early. I feel like it is going to make us better for next weekend."

- On where she feels the team stands after the first week of the season:
"Right now it's weekend one and we're very process-oriented. There were a few pieces to the process that we're working on that we didn't do very well, and that's what I'm most disappointed in – not necessarily results. I think if we take control of those things that we're working on then we have different outcomes, but I feel that we walked out of there knowing we have to work harder this week and respond. We'll have another opportunity for a great tournament next weekend in Atlanta."
