QUOTES
Head Coach Amy Hendrichovsky
- On Auburn:
"They are a very disciplined first- and second-contact team. I think defensively and serve receive is definitely a strength for them. They have a very strong senior setter who ran a very good offense tonight. It came down to the serve and pass game; we were unable to execute on our serving and passing, which has been a strength for us. I was disappointed in the lack of focus and execution on that part of our game. That has been a strength for us."
- On improvement she hopes to see against Clemson:
"I told our team that we need to reflect on what we as individuals need to do tomorrow to better our team performance. But ultimately we need to go back to our strengths, and we need the people on our court to execute their role for their team. Then we'll be successful when we're able to run our offensive system. I feel that we played well defensively tonight; we played point-for-point with them defensively, we just weren't able to execute our offensive system. We need to go back to that part of our game tomorrow and we'll be successful."
