"I thought we competed at a very high level and we also have plenty of reference points – both good and bad – for this week's practice."
After winning the doubles point, the Jags picked up a two-set win from senior
Laura Valkova (Piestany, Slovakia) – 6-3, 7-6 – at No. 3 to go up 2-0, but needed to go the distance in the next two matches to clinch the victory.

Marlene Herrman 6-4, 6-7, 7-5 at No. 2 to pick up the victory.
