THEY SAID IT
USA head coach Terry Fowler
On the game and turnovers tonight: "We had a couple of three-seconds, we had a charge called, we had an illegal screen, those don't' hurt our defense. We'll take those. That's us trying to be aggressive on offense. The thing that was disappointing to us was the rebounding. They have great length, but it was disappointing as we had our hands on some that we should have had. The free throw shooting was also disappointing. We can't shoot 48 percent from the line, yet we were still in the ballgame."

On Savannah Jones returning from her knee injury last season: "Just to see her come back from her situation is great. She is still getting her body into game shape. Even though she is back, she didn't participate in the first handful of practices. She is working her way back and we are excited to have her back on the floor. She gives us different options.
