THEY SAID IT
Head Coach Terry Fowler
On the matchup against Alabama State: "It's always tough to play at Alabama State. We played there a couple of years ago. It's a great environment, with a great student section and on the road it's going to be difficult from the beginning. Alabama State prides themselves on the defensive end. They play very hard and want to play high-level basketball by spreading the floor. Their guards try to beat you off the dribble and we have to try and contain it. We want to keep them out of the paint and rebound the basketball."

On avoiding what could be another trap game: "We need to stay focused and stay in the moment. That's what we are preaching to our team. It's about today. Today is about our preparation for Alabama State and staying focused on us continuing to get better, not losing sight of the task at hand."
