QUOTES
Head Coach Amy Hendrichovsky
- On the match:
"Other than set one, we competed. If we execute our side of the net in set two a little better at the end, then it could be a different set and we're going in to set three 1-1. But they are the best team in our conference right now, and they have the best player in the conference right now; that is very beneficial and there are things that we have to do to offset that. We can't play their game and win, so we have to stick to our game. But our girls never quit in the second and third sets, they just continued to fight and grind. I saw things that we worked on this week show off in the match, which is promising. We have to get back on our horse tomorrow and get ready for Sunday."
- On how she is looking for in Sunday's match:
"Ultimately, the roots of our team and playing South Alabama volleyball and what we've been this year, and we've been doing that. We had a little bit of a lull for a week or two, and I think we're getting back to that. I want to see us come out and perform, and we need to get the people who we rely on on a daily basis to come and perform for our team."
