MARIETTA, Ga. – The University of South Alabama women's tennis team swept singles and doubles en route to a 7-0 victory over Kennesaw State Saturday morning at the Fair Oaks Tennis Center.
The 74th-ranked Jaguars stay unbeaten at 6-0 while the Owls fall to 0-6.
"We had a very professional performance today," USA head coach
Jaco Keyser said. "I definitely liked the way we engaged from the first point and played on our own terms."

Laura Valkova (Piestany, Slovakia) defeated
Jana Hueckinghaus 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2, and
Laura Matuskova clinched the win at No. 5 over
Cristina Martin, 6-1, 6-0.
In other singles action, sophomore
Monica Mitta (Fairhope, Ala.) won 6-3, 6-1 against
Virginie Stein on the No. 1 court, and senior
Mary Angela Martin (Mobile, Ala.) dropped just two games total in a 6-1, 6-1 victory over
Alexandra Mercado at No. 4.
Senior
Emily Newton (Dothan, Ala.) needed three sets to get past
Isabela Castro at No. 3, 6-4, 2-6, (10-8).
Martin and junior
Michaela Meszarosova (Bratislava, Slovakia), and Sanchez and Mitta teamed up for a pair of 8-0 victories on courts 2 and 3, respectively.
"I'm looking forward to get back to Mobile and get some practice in as we keep on trying to improve," Keyser said.
The Jaguars host Southern Miss Friday at 1 p.m.
