“Romain played very aggressively and that’s how you come up with big wins,” said USA head coach Nick Brochu. “I am very proud of him. This tournament has some excellent players and he is playing at a high level.”

Monday Bocaert will face No. 1 seed Vladimir Obradovic, who topped USA sophomore Christian Kuehne (Morbach, Germany) 6-3, 6-1.
