MOBILE, Ala. - The University of South Alabama Athletic Ticket Office announced Tuesday that it has sent out notices for baseball season ticket renewals this week with a Jan. 22 deadline for Jaguar fans to reserve their same seats as last year.

Despite an increase of six games at Stanky Field, USA Athletics froze Jag baseball season ticket prices for 2010.  Season box seats are $150, with the cost $100 for chair back seats and $80 for bench back tickets.  Faculty, staff and alumni can purchase season tickets for a discounted rate of $135 for box seats, $90 for chair backs and $72 for bench back seats.  Bench back season tickets are also $72 for youth ages 2-12 and seniors 55 years or older.

There are three ways to renew season tickets.  Individuals can call their personal account representative at 251-461-1USA (1872), visit the school's athletic web site - www.usajaguars.com - and click on ordering tickets online, or by mailing their payment to 2195 Mitchell Center Drive, Mobile, AL 36688-0002.

The Jaguars will play 33 home games in 2010, including contests against Alabama, Auburn, Southern Mississippi, Tulane and Wichita State.  Sun Belt Conference rivals Louisiana-Lafayette, New Orleans and Troy highlight league action slated for Stanky Field in the spring as well.  USA returns six of nine starters from a lineup that set a school season record with a .326 batting average last year.
