TROY, Ala. --- The University of South Alabama swept the top three singles flights en route to a 5-2 women’s tennis victory Tuesday afternoon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
The Jaguars win their eighth straight match to move to 11-3 on the season. Troy falls to 10-6.
After splitting the first two doubles matches at No. 2 and No. 3, USA seniors
Michaela Babicova (Piestany, Slovakia) and
Sylvanie Spangenberg (Pretoria, South Africa) clinched the doubles point over
Rawia Elsisi and

Wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles pulled the Trojans to within 3-2, but sophomore
Erica Krisan (Marietta, Ga.) defeated Elsisi in straight sets 6-2, 7-5 to give USA the victory. Krisan was victorious for the 10th straight time, the last five coming at No. 1.
Babicova won her fifth straight with a near shutout of
