Corpus Christi, TX ? The University of South Alabama men’s
tennis team dropped its first match of the HEB Invitational to New Mexico, 4-1,
and dropped the afternoon match to Middle Tennessee, 4-1, Friday. With the
losses the Jaguars fell to 2-6 on the year and will look to rebound against 72nd
ranked Nebraska tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
“We played hard today being short handed, but we need to
close out the matches,” head coach Nick Brochu said. “We can not give up breaks
points and that cost us in both matches today.
The Jaguars will continue the HEB Invitational with a nine
a.m. match against Nebraska, Saturday
