HATTIESBURG, Miss. ? The South Alabama men’s tennis team continued its impressive singles play this weekend, sweeping all three singles matches against Troy on Saturday in day two action of the Southern Miss Fall Invitational.
Robert Hodel was the first Jag to take down his Trojan opponent on Saturday with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Benjamin Chomette. R.J. Nagel (Bastian Maucher- Troy) and Aaron Kirsan (Marko Zivkovic ? Troy) also made quick work of their opponents with a pair of 6-0, 6-1 victories.
Nagel and Kirsan, however, did drop an 8-5 doubles decision to UAB’s Alex Emory and Tyrone Ewels on Saturday.
USA will close out tournament action on Sunday with singles action against Southern Miss.
