TULSA, Okla. ? 22nd-ranked Tulsa posted a 6-1 win over No. 24 South Alabama on Sunday, dropping the Jaguars to 16-4 overall this season, while Tulsa improved to 13-6.
The Golden Hurricane swept through the doubles portion to take the early 1-0 lead. TU went up 2-0 with a win by Will Gray over sophomore Craig Dunne at No. 4, 6-0, 6-2. No. 41 sophomore Marek Sramek cut the deficit in half as he scored the lone point for the Jaguars with a straight set win over Federico Soriano at No. 3, 6-0, 6-0.
Tulsa won the rest of the singles matches for the 6-1 win.
USA returns home as it will prepare for the SBC Shootout next weekend in Lafayette, La. The Jaguars have their final home match of the season on Apr. 15 against North Florida at 11 a.m. at the Bruce David Lubel Memorial Courts.
