MOBILE, Ala. - University of South Alabama men’s golf program ends its early signing period with English golfer Jack Hiluta. A native of Essex, England Hiluta, joins current Alabama State Champion golfer Jacob Randall as part of the 2007 men’s golf recruiting class.
"I'm really excited at the prospect of working with Coach Hannan and the rest of the team next year. I can't wait to get out there and hopefully have a positive impact on the team," said Hiluta.
Hiluta was a member of the 2006 U-18 England Team that competed in Scotland at the Home International Tournament. In Scotland, Hiluta won five of his six match points and was named England’s Most Valuable Player. “Jack should make an immediate impact on our team. He has competed for his country and played very well in the international level,” said men’s coach Ben Hannan, “Because of his experience he will be very comfortable coming in as a freshman.” “Jack is a very nice young man and we are very excited he came to play at South Alabama.”
