Magnolia Grove Golf Course
The Magnolia Grove Golf Course, home of the South Alabama men’s and women’s golf programs, is located seven miles from campus.
The facility ranks as one of the finest of its kind nationally, and it includes two 18-hole championship courses and an 18-hole par-three course. Magnolia Grove was named one of the "Top 50 Public Courses" by Golf World Magazine readers.
In 2019, a clubhouse was built at Magnolia Grove for both golf programs, including a putting, chipping, and driving area. There are two hitting bays as well as a putting and hitting simulation room.
On campus, the golf suite is located in the Health, Kinesiology, and Sport (HKS) building. The suite has an additional simulation lab, locker rooms, coaches’ offices, and a weight room.
Facility Features:
• The topography at Magnolia Grove features creeks, marshland, and lakes with each of the 54 holes carved through indigenous hardwood and pine.
Directions:
Magnolia Grove is located at 7400 Magnolia Grove Pkwy. From I-65, take exit 5B and turn right on Moffett Road. Turn left on Magnolia Grove Parkway. The course clubhouse is on the left, just after you make the left at the T. The South Alabama clubhouse is located on the right, about one half mile ahead.
