Hopkins helped lead South Alabama to a 3-1 record last week, batting .400 (she was 4-for-10 at the plate) scoring three runs and driving in five, while recording a .900 slugging percentage. Against Southeastern Louisiana, she was 1-for-3 at the plate scoring one run and drawing one walk. In game one against North Texas, Hopkins hit a bases clearing three-run triple that lifted the Jags to a 5-0 victory. In game two, the Gulf Shores, Ala., native hit her team-leading ninth home run of the season. In the series finale, she recording one hit, drove in one run and drawing two walks.
