Ortiz reached base three times in the two-game road series at Troy this past weekend as she had a pair of hits and was hit by a pitch. Her double in the series opener was her 17th of the spring, tying her with teammate Brittani Reid for both the Sun Belt Conference lead and the program's single-season mark. The Jag right fielder also made a pair of diving catches in Friday's extra-inning affair. On Saturday, Ortiz extended her career-best hit streak to 10 games.
