Karlsson set a program record for the best 54-hole total posted at the Sun Belt Conference Championship after tying for third individually with a 10-under-par 203 score, matching his best-ever finish last set at the league tournament a year ago. The junior broke par in all three rounds of the event, including firing a 6-under-par 65 on the second day of play that was the lowest 18-hole score by a Jag in the programs' record books. Karlsson tied for third in the field with 17 over the three-day tournament, ending up among the top five of all players competing with a 2 under score on par-three holes as well as among the top 10 in scoring on par fours and fives.
