Davis batted .375 with two doubles, one home run, eight RBIs, two runs scored, a .688 slugging percentage and .421 on-base percentage in four games last weekend at the 19th Annual Brittain Resorts Baseball at the Beach tournament in Conway, S.C. He hit safely in all four games, including a three-hit performance in the first game of the tournament. Davis finished 3-for-4 with a double, three RBIs and one run scored in the season opener against Kansas State. He homered, drove in three runs and scored one run in Saturday's win over No. 18 Oklahoma, and added a hit and one RBI in Saturday's win over Virginia Tech. Davis capped the weekend with a double and an RBI against No. 23 Indiana on Sunday.
