Reid had an outstanding first week in a Jaguar uniform as she was 2-0 in three outings and two starts.  Reid began the week by entering in relief in against No. 10 Alabama.  With the Jags trailing by one and runners on at first and second, Reid was able to get a fly out to end the inning.  She would go on to toss 2.1 innings of scoreless relief allowing just one hit and striking out one.  In her first start of the season, Reid was again solid as she went the distance and picked up the Jags' first win of the season.  On Sunday, Reid was even better as she recorded her first career no-hitter only allowing three base runners – two walks and a hit batter – in the contest.  She also struck out a season-best seven Bulldog batters which was one shy of matching her career high.  The no-hitter was the 17th in South Alabama history and the first since Feb. 24 of last season when Devin Brown tossed one against Tennessee Tech.
