In her three outings this past week, Brown recorded a perfect 3-0 record in three complete game efforts, which included a pair of shutout victories over Troy and Appalachian State.  In her 19 innings of work, Brown struck out 20 while walking just two and only allowing three total runs on 10 hits.  Brown began her week with a two-hit 8-0 shutout win over Troy on Wednesday night where she also struck out 10 Trojans and didn’t allow a walk. The junior righty was dominant in the circle as she recorded two strikeouts each inning in the contest versus the Trojans and didn’t allow a runner past second.  On Saturday, Brown posted her ninth shutout of the season as she held the Mountaineers to three hits in a 4-0 win and clinched the series on Sunday with her 14th complete game of the spring.
