After posting one of the top times in the country in the men's 60-meter dash earlier this year, Scott won the Sun Belt Indoor Championship event for the second consecutive season after recording a 6.67-second finish to earn first-team all-conference honors. The junior sprinter also competed in the finals of the 200-meter dash after qualifying for the top eight, but suffered a cramp in the race to finish eighth while still contributing a point to the South Alabama men's overall team score. Scott had qualified for both the men's 60m (6.63) and 200m (21.26) finals with second-place finishes in the preliminaries.
