Rubit averaged a double-double with 17.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in two games as the Jaguars went 1-1 on the week.  He recorded his eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season with 11 points, 12 rebounds vs. Western Kentucky and 24 points, 11 rebounds vs. Florida International, and is tied for the league lead in double-doubles.  Rubit's 24 points against the Golden Panthers was a new career high and he tied his personal best with three blocks.  He shot 10 of 13 (76.9%) from the floor vs. FIU, while eight of his 12 rebounds vs. the Hilltoppers came on the offensive end.
