Purfield was responsible for both goals in South Alabama’s pair of 1-0 wins over the weekend… She broke a scoreless deadlock in the 88th minute against Arkansas State with a free kick from 20 yards out, and played all 90 minutes on defense, limiting the Red Wolves to just three shots total and none on goal… Against Little Rock, she assisted on the game winner in the 11th minute on a corner kick, and helped hold the Trojans to eight shots, with two hitting the target.
