Bell (5-1) tossed his second complete game in as many starts in Tuesday’s win over Jacksonville State. The right-hander allowed one earned run on seven hits and struck out four while issuing one walk in nine innings to earn his fifth win of the season. He also made a relief appearance in Sunday’s series finale against Georgia Southern, and pitched one perfect frame to combine for the 10-0 shutout.
