Collins set a school record in the pole vault in his first meet of the outdoor season, clearing 5.22m at the Jaguar Classic to record the seventh-best mark in the event in the country. In earning in the win by a .10m margin, the freshman became just the second individual in program history to clear 17 feet in the discipline.
