Brown was named Sun Belt Conference Pitcher of the Week after she went 3-0 and threw a one-hitter and a perfect game in two appearances against Louisiana-Monroe, receiving the honor for a second time this year. Brown capped a 3-0 week with her first career perfect game on Sunday in USA’s series-sweeping win over ULM. The Mobile, Ala., native struck out 11 of the 15 batters she faced to no walks, becoming the second player in Jaguar history to toss a perfect game. The Mobile, Ala., native preceded that performance by throwing a shutout one-hitter to the Warhawks in game one, striking out seven to one walk.
