Dees recorded a career- and South Alabama season-high 15 stops to lead all players Saturday at Texas State, a total that included a school-record-tying 12 solo tackles. The senior was credited with five stops in the opening quarter to help the Jaguar defense limit the Bobcats to just 24 yards, and had 11 tackles in the opening half as USA allowed Texas State 166 yards before the break. It’s the second time this season that Dees has posted a double-figure total in the category and the team-leading third occasion he has paced the Jags in stops.
