Daniel helped guide the Jaguars to the program’s first-ever road victory over defending league champion Little Rock, recording 37 kills in USA’s two matches this past week and averaging 4.62 kills per set while hitting .309 with just eight attack errors in her 94 attempts. Daniel also had 30 digs for a 3.75 digs per set average, and she averaged 5.12 points per set in her two outings with four or more kills in all but two of her eight sets. On Friday, Daniel just missed a double-double as she had 16 kills and nine digs while hitting .433 in the match at Arkansas State. On Saturday Daniel was instrumental in helping South Alabama rally back from a 2-1 deficit on the road at Little Rock, posting her ninth double-double of the season with 21 kills and a career-best 21 digs versus the Trojans, marking the first time a Jag had done so in a match since the 2010 season.
