Daniel posted her best three matches of the season over the weekend to help lead South Alabama to three-straight wins, the last two in straight sets, at the Jaguar Invitational title. For her play, the junior opposite side hitter was named the tournament's MVP after leading the club with 45 kills (4.09 kps) and hitting .330 to go along with 29 digs and five block assists. Daniel began her week by recording her third double-double of the season with 18 kills and 18 digs in a five-set victory over Houston Baptist on Friday night. She then registered 16 kills and hit .364 in a straight-set win over McNeese State on Saturday, then in the tournament title match Daniel led the club with 11 kills and a .346 attack percentage versus Samford – an NCAA tournament participant a year ago.
