Miller set a school record in the shot put, finishing second in the event as well as the hammer throw at the South Alabama Invitational this weekend. She recorded a distance of 14.90m in the shot, the fifth-best toss in the Sun Belt this spring in finishing ahead of five other competitors from the league, and in the hammer throw the junior was one of two individuals to surpass 50 meters with a 50.04 mark to best six others in the event from the conference.
