Griffith batted .455 in the Jaguars’ three-game Sun Belt Conference series sweep of Texas-Arlington last weekend. The senior scored five runs on as many hits and supplied three RBI, including three home runs. She tied the school record for most home runs in a game for the third time this season and second in as many league series with a pair in game one, a performance in which she went 2-for-4 with two RBI and runs scored. The Centre, Ala., native leads USA in homers with 10 on the year, including hitting six in her last six games; she’s now two away from tying USA’s single-season record.
