Johnson averaged 15.2 points and shot 41.4 percent from 3-point land in his last five games, improving his season scoring average to a team-best 12.8 per game. He scored at least 15 in four of those games, including a high of 18 at IUPUI; the 18 was a new career best after shooting 8-for-14 from the floor with two 3-pointers, and he also tied his personal high with six assists and had six rebounds. Johnson recorded 17 points each against Howard and Arkansas State, converting a total of seven times beyond the 3-point arc, including a career-high four times vs. ASU, and went 6-for-6 from the free-throw line against Howard.
