Garner’s 59-yard interception return for a touchdown gave USA a double-digit lead for good late in the first quarter of the Jaguars’ 34-10 win over Idaho, as he would go on to finish with five tackles — one shy of matching his highest total of the season — including his first career sack.  The senior also broke up a pass in the end zone on third down to force the Vandals to settle for a field goal, with his efforts helping USA limit Idaho to season-low totals in passing (239) and total (269) yards as well as points (10); it was the first time an opponent has held the Vandal offense to fewer than 400 yards of total offense.
