Ammons averaged 15.5 points and 6.5 rebounds, and shot 55.6 percent from the floor over two games as the Jaguars posted a 1-1 record. Ammons started the week with a 17-point, seven-rebound performance over Dillard, where he shot 4-for-5 from the floor and 9-for-12 from the free throw line. He added three assists and two blocks in leading the Jags to an 82-73 win. Against Arkansas, he poured in 14 points, made one 3-pointer and grabbed six boards.
