Smith posted 10 catches for 194 yards and a score, tying a school game record in the former category and setting another in the latter in the Jaguars' 38-17 win at Georgia State Saturday; it was the most receiving yards recorded by an individual in the Sun Belt this fall, helping him earn the league’s Offensive Player-of-the-Week honors on Monday. The junior had four catches for 20 or more yards — raising his team-leading total to 17 plays of at least 20 yards — including two on the Jags’ opening scoring drive of the second half, as his 37-yard touchdown catch extended the USA lead to 31-3.
