Smith became the second USA player this year to catch multiple touchdown passes after he accounted for both Jaguar scores against the Midshipmen, marking the first time the program has had more than one individual accomplish the feat in the same season. The junior-college transfer caught five balls for 65 yards in the game, leading the squad in both categories while setting a new school season record with 616 receiving yards this year after he surpassed Courtney Smith — who had 592 yards on receptions in 2010 — last weekend. He has now topped USA in yards receiving in five of the last six contests.
